Default went to the track tonight...

and i have to say im very pleased with my results, for those of u who dont know i have an 04 sxt ATX, and my first time out when i was bone stock i ran an 18.1 @ 76 mph, and tonight i knocked 8/10th of a second off with just a CAI and Exhaust, and ran a 17/3 @ 81 mph... so yea i was very happy with my little Peon

Congrats! Now you just have to get that time down into the 16's and then eventually into the 15's.

next up for mods should be a new header, intake manifold, throttle body, Underdrive Pulley. That should give your car a little bit of extra "go".

yea i think the next to modifications on my list are gonna be an underdrive pully and a cam gear...but im not sure yet...

An UDP would make more sense. A cam gear wont make any sense until u do a cam job.

well i plan on doing a cam job also lol, thats one of the other questions i had but didnt ask, so this http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx...for_sohc.shtml will work well?? i mean i know cams make a diff, but i dont know if it will make a dif on my car or not though...

UDPs don't do much. I would go with a header. Mid length or long tube header if you want to leave it all motor and make power. I'd skip the UDP though.

i also went to the track at new england dragway yesterday jus to watch, next week im racing and hopeing for mid to high 13's

While i do agree you should get a new header, skipping the UDP would be like not getting a CAI...the UDP makes more HP than a CAI and costs less...from all the people i've talked to who have gotten the UDP they have said it was the best "bang for the buck" mod.
