Why are all rear windows manual?
i dont know if its true, but i think even the srt4 have manual rear windows, the acr, sxt, es. im not sure about chrystler. but anyone has an idea why this is, i hate rollin them down from the front seat lol and when i do and it starts rainin its a hastle lol. i heard its a child-safety thing, apparently a mom killed her son by puttin the rear window up while the kids head was out, not sure, just gossip. any ideas?
not too sure about this but i heard its for less weight and better gas milage because of it because its an economy car. i heard they got rid of that, cruise control and something else to reduce the weight. i may be wrong though
That's why. The back seat is a utility. I like it. It's a nice compromise. I wouldn't care if the front ones rolled too but I think it's kinda cool that they realize that most neons will average 1.2 ocumants most of the time so why bother putting power windows back there. Oh by the way 04 R/T is the same way.
Yeah i dont really care that the back windows are manual, i never sit back there so why should it bother me? As for why they did it, its a cost cutting measure plain and simple, dont forget these are economy cars...it is still wierd though, considering on these "economy" cars you can get 6 disc cd changers, gps units, sun roofs, leather seats, and side air bags as options...oh well, if it bugs you that much go buy a power rear window kit for like $100-$200 and wire it all up.

It's funny but I would like all the options you stated (excepty maybe GPS) but still wouldn't pay to have rear power windows. Why add the weight for the few times you'd use them. (Still liking my factroy CD changer and sunroof and using thost every day). It's like they actually thought logicly about it. Where's the turbo option (I'd use that everyday too)
