i was wondering if a neon would be a focus and a civic?

 

An SXT/SE Neon will beat the equivalent Focus and Civic...

 

so wat else can a neon beat?

 

Well with a good driver and some of the right modifications ie (non turbo) ones.You can easily go neck and neck with some of the v6 imports like the nissan maxima or mazda 6.A lot has to do with weight to horsepower ratio.I've managed to take out most standard v8 trucks,honda's no problem my biggest competion with my neon has been the old mazda rx7.Although if you wanted to talk srt-4 conversion your talking fastest 4 cylinder on the road!

 

Actually, I do belive that a Subaru WRX-STI will beat a SRT-4 and it's a turboed 4-cylinder just like the SrT

 

the german version of most audis specifically the TT would kick a neons @ss but the american version has much smaller turbos...D@MN EMMISSIONS REGULATIONS!!!

 

that and we dont have 100 octane[:@]

a neon will compete with anything in its class and probably win unless the car has had more done to it. I highly emphasise CLASS

 

what about a nissan sentra type r? if i am not mistaken.

I agree with many of the posts so far, I've raced just about everything in my class
and have successfully beaten nearly all of them.
I mine as well post as many races as I can remember to help give a general idea
of what it can do:

Victories:
90's Honda Accord (Stock)
90's Honda Civic (Riced out)
90's Nissan Sentra (Riced out)
Hyundai Tiburon (Riced out)
2000 something Ford Focus (Stock)
00-02 Dodge Neon (Cannibalism anyone?)
80's Toyota Supra
90's Dodge Caravan (Hahahaha)
And so many truck's I've lost count...

There are almost a dozen others, but damn I just can't remember right now.

Losses:
95 Acura Integra (Friend's car, 5-speed and he knows how to row 'em.)
03-05 Acura RSX-Type S (I wanted too see how fast it was )
95-98 Toyota Supra (That thing f*cking ate my car. I knew it would win,
but I wanted to see if that huge *** FMIC was real or not.)



Yeah... my city is pretty bad when it comes to ricers...
But the fact that they think their "Whip" is hot **** until it's all changed when they lose
to a non-riced out Neon kinda makes it a good thing.

 

The Sentra SE-R Spec V is equivalent to the Neon R/T...an Impreza is slower than an R/T, but faster than a stock SXT...the STi will run a 13.0-13.3 while the WRX will run a low 14 second 1/4 mile.
