one goes to ground and the other to any fuse that goes on when the car is turned on. you can just take the fuse out put the wire in teh hole and put the fuse back. you should put it in the cold side of the fuse though

cold side would be the side that doesnt have the power source to it directly.....otherwise if there is a malfunction, the fuse wont blow....i usually just wire mine into the back of the radio

I like this idea much better i just bought a radar and wanted to get rid of the wire hanging down around my radio..So if i Cut?? the wire for the radar and connect the power and ground right to the radio power and ground it should work fine???

it works out great....as long as you have the right wires connected......before, i had my radar detector, alarm, and neon lights all hooked up behind the radio and never had a problem

glad it works for ya.....it could always be connected to the constant or ignition power wires.....i always had mine connected to the constant, but that was just because we always used to party in front of a friends house, so when my car was parked on the road, we could tell if a cop was coming.....since the cops in my town always drive around with the radar on

but connected to the ignition wire it wont run your battery down
