I was running a spectra cai but took that junk off and put on a 14x3 with a spectra filter and extreme lid. like it better just for the fact it is not in the way.

I have the aFe Cold Air Intake, but got rid of the box, twisted tubing to angle next to coolant reservoir, and replaced oil filter with Amsoil dry flow with pre-screen. Gets cooler air directly through grille.

I have the 14x3 too, only thing is you can hear it sucking air at low throttle.

Thing I dont like is the post that holds the hat on the tb is like 3" longer than it needs to be and the PO just put like 20 washers on it so the nut will tighten it down. You can see it sticking out of the top. Makes it a PIA to get the thing off of there. I could probably just use a long screw or something else.

I can't. The whole thing is not threaded and it has a dog leg in it. I "assume" it is the original post from the oem intake. I just got to get around to finding a screw long enough for it.
