I've always wondered how the V6s manage with these heavy bodies. I would think it's rather under powered. When I looked at buying mine I test drove a V6 and it was soooo whiny I couldn't stand it. The whining noise in the cab was terrible. The V8 had a much smoother rumble, so that made it easy for me.

Put dual 4ft whips on, I hit the bridge that is 8'6" tall. Waiting for my cb. Tomorrow I'm going to finish my cb light and put said cb in truck.

Took the bumper trim off and put some plastic primer on it. Going to let it dry and paint it black tommorow. Going to mask the grille and body off to re-paint the honeycomb mesh orange. Hopefully I find a new grille at the Mopar Nationals, Saturday!

Purple, why don't you take the honeycomb out of the grill? Less trouble and less chance of making a mess, plus a better paint job.

Because the studs will crack if I try to loosen them. Right now it has so many chips in it I could care less. I'm getting a new Mopar grille sometime soon.
