What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
do you fill that thing up daily or what?!
Driving 100 mi at 11 mpg uses 8 gallons which is a little more than 1/4 tank.
We try to keep all our vehicles above 3/4.
So when I drive it 200 mi in a week, yes, I fill it up daily. lol
And it's dodge (NO UNDERSCORE) dude94

you know filling at 3/4 tank doesn't make the fill up any cheaper right?
I wait till the bastard puts the fuel empty light on, then I still drive it another day before filling up
Harsh language and ignorance. They think there 4.8l motors stock make 400hp -_-

Think about that do-do.

Put $30 in it. Came out to 13 mpg corrected. W00t.
I used it to go pick up lumber for one of my jobs.... Tried the tow mirror thing... Still not sure what all the big hype is... maybe it is cause I didnt have my pants sagged down around my knees and my hat was on forward unlike all the little kids around here who do it.. Its been a while since I stirred up some trouble lol... Heres the picture for all you pic ******....
Nice tow mirrors dylter, i think you should swap them onto your second gen
anyway..back on topic:
Bought a smarty programmer off a cumminsforum member yesterday so I can STACK STACK STACK! lol
really though I got it because I have to pass emissions before next month and using a smarty is a cheater way of getting a diesel with large injectors through emissions without having to remove the injectors and put the stock ones back in
PL0 on the smarty = -50% power. as in 50% less power than stock tuning
basically puts the truck into limp mode without the engine codes or rpm limitations...
so that oughta get me through emissions. it will also enable the 3-cyl high idle mode which is there from cummins by default, but factory disabled by dodge.
likely because someone who didn't know about it would freak the F out when they start their truck in super cold weather and after a couple minutes it sounds like it is misfiring like crazy and throwing a rod...
when temp is below 0 the truck will idle up to 1200rpm for 2 minutes, then it will shut down 3 cylinders to cause decent engine load which brings idle EGT's up from 280-300* up to 650-700* makes the engine warm up in 1/2 the time.
just gotta do the resister toggle switch mod to my IAT sensor so I can activate 3-cylinder high idle on demand
(fools the computer into thinking its arctic temps outside so 3-cyl mode will kick on)
