4 months after the accident state farm still is trying to scam me, so it depends if I end up keeping it or not. If I keep it I will probably fix it, if they get possession of it I will strip it first including the >10000 mile NV4500 and $500 clutch I put in it last spring....

Tore the stock flexplate out of my Cummins last Thursday. It was chattering so bad in park and drive. Dead silent in reverse. Sounded almost exactly like a rod knock but went away at any rpm greater than 900rpm.

No idea why the previous owner when he rebuilt the transmission with all good **** decided it'd be a good idea to use the stock flexplate.

Anyhow, ATS billet steel flexplate was overnighted last night, should have it here tomorrow and my dirty diesel back together on Friday.

drove my 3/4 ton home tonight. Cyl. 8 is def. dead. Missed the whole way home, made the 30 mile drive fun. Hopefully I will be able to tear into it sunday and figure it out, that is if i have enough daylight after putting the rebuilt trans back into the 95 and doing a tuneup on my 88 GMC.

Have you fixed your plenum?

Let's see with my Ram I climbed a snow covered hill, hauled some propane tanks around, got diesel, and put some gas in her...

I think im going to bite the bullet next week and order a new set of heads, M1, cam, and maybe a TB. I just have to make sure I leave enough dough for a SCT. That should take care of that misfire. Wondering if ill need some larger injectors....

got the hids installed in the headlights today. went to install the hids in the foglights only to find that the harness for the factory fogs doesnt have thick enough wire to handle the load of the hids. so, ordered a harness for them today. should hopefully have it next week!

The only injector change seems to be to a 4 port design, but match the flow rate as close as possible to the stock injectors.

There are one, three and four hole injectors out there that will work, just remember that we run at 49 psi and most injectors are flow rated at 39 or 35 psi so you need to correct the psi to 49 to see what the new flow rate is.
