"Calibrated" can mean two things, depending on what English and industry you are in, so maybe I should have been clearer. I was meaning "calibrated" as in marked.

And in our world, "marked" and "calibrated" mean two totally different things.

When I shut the door somehow I hit the lock switch and stayed locked. I couldn't get to the sliding window latch and the hangers you get from the cleaners these days are just not stout enough...

In any event my wife's friends husband is a locksmith.. lives about 15 minutes away. It took him literally 30 seconds to get it open and charged me $20.00 way cheaper then smashing the rear window which is what I was about to do.

All's good got two keys made one hide-a-key and ordered a remote starter w/ keyless entry.

Same thing happened to my dad but without the engine running... Guys at the tire shop used a big prybar to open the door enough and then a piece of metal to pull the plunger up.

VWAndDodge, lol...

There was a lady at work who locked the keys in her MegaCab, called the locksmith and he pryed the top of the door open a little bit, slipped an air bag in there, and started pumping. Once it was open enough he took his rod he had and lifted up on the inside door handle.

30 seconds. BOOM.
