^^ You keep saying that. It was so rusted it was way beyond ever salvaging. I am not exaggerating. There was not a single panel on it without holes clear through it from rust. It also had a wiring fire which resulted in it being used as a parts truck, so it wasn't even near complete. I wouldn't have scrapped a good dodge or even a salvageable one, trust me.

every picture you post of it make is look in pretty good shape compared to my trucks. to me that truck looks salvageable. my ramcharger is probably in worse shape than that thing. if i want to keep driving the ramcharger i have to pretty much replace all the structure under the cab because it has pretty much all rusted out.

There were gaping rust holes in the bed and the bottom of the cab was gone and the rockers were rusted through and the core support was swiss cheese at the body mounts and it had been in a wreck and had a different drivers door that didn't fit well and the drivers fender was a jap re-pop. The hood was the only good panel on it. Seriously.

Don't really need the gasket, just use RTV, works just as good. No leaks.

Well, it wasn't what I did to my Ram today, but last week this time. Upper and lower ball joints, new rotors, brakes, wheel bearings, and while I was down there since the bushing/joint was worn out, got a new pitman arm. Man her steering's tighter than she's ever been, good stuff. I guess now it's time for a rear diff gasket, u-joints, get the governor pressure solenoid and sensor in the tranny replaced, delete the trans return line check valve, and find out what the hell that upper engine tick is. Yeah I have a laundry list.

Haven't driven Ram much in last week and a half, so decided to take on road trip yesterday for work. Aired it out on Toll Road 130 - speed limit 85. Feels kind of odd driving that speed and not beeing overly alert looking for troopers! But at 5:30 am, no one else on the road. Just over 200 mile trip. Ran great!
