They do suck, and I got new ones, much better now.
Just 710CCA? My Walmart battery has 1000CCA.
710 CCA is all I will ever need. And its better than the 600 CCA Duranotlast battery I used to have. Plus I didnt have to deal with Walmart.

That's better than the stock battery I replaced a few years ago too. Did your truck have that 600CCA maintenance free battery that it came with from the factory when your dad got it? My truck used to sound pretty pitiful when I started it because of that weak battery.

i always keep my battery charger hooked up to my battery so it always sounds strong.

Purple don't forget to grease the clamps so that they don't corrode and cause you tons of problems like i had on my 81. 1 week it was 1 clamp and the next week it was the other.

According to my build sheet it left the factory with yep, the 600CCA maintenance free battery. It lasted until 2007 when we replaced it with the Duralast. Sounds so much better when I start it up now.

I also ordered something new today. Bye bye orange

Replaced my Wheel Seal last night. Got the seals from the auto parts store before I took it apart behind my mother's house (my association wont let me work on it in the neighborhood) only to find out they gave me the wrong ones. Had to call the wife and have her pick me up and bring me to the store with the old one to get the correct one.

How do people maintain their cars in your neighborhood?

Come on purpl they take them to the mechanic like most people do....most associations do not allow you to work on your car and can fine/tow the vehicle

Did probrably my favorite mod yesterday I even have pics

My alarm came with a hood switch, that I never installed because wtf are they gonna steal from under my hood...and also they would have a hell of a time getting the hood open without setting off the alarm regardless. Since I dont lock my toolbox(I have about $300 worth of stuff maybe $200 of it would be replaced) it would pointless to have someone destroy the box to get it open, so I just put the switch in the box so it will go off and and if it doesnt send them scattering hopefully I got my keys close by. I go to alot of fires and parties where stuff seems to just disapear plus the people from the ghetto wander over via the busway and ****** and grab what they can out of vehicles, so far it freaked my brother out and has been a pain in my ***. Trying to get a friend of mines extra switch to do the tailgate next.

Oh yea order some energy suspension tie-rod boots, and some daystar shock boots, one of the cheaper tie-rod ends i got already had a boot go out took about 2 days, think it got pinched somehow and I never noticed it
