i have searched and not come up with anything. there was also even a post from rock auto Representative that say 5% is all they do since they already offer fairly reasonably priced parts.

Drove to GDStock's and he hooked up the MT2500 scan tool to run a diagnostic baseline for me. Everything looked good except the governor solenoid pressure. Will be ordering a Borg Warner replacement shortly as well as replacement pressure sensor, and lock up solenoid. Pressure reading was at 78 instead of 120. Thanks GD! Enjoyed the conversion immensely !

Hm. I guess 5% it is then. Maybe I had 2 5%'s that worked together? I know I had entered several codes seeing if any were worth more. The parts were ordered around a month ago and I had about $30 off an order that totaled around $300. Either way, I still saved a good 30-40% off local retail. Local stores (NAPA,Advanced,Carquest, even tried autozone) wanted well over $200 for the fuel pump, and double on the brake parts.

At a minimum engine oil change and fog the motor down, 50/50 antifreeze mix.

Do it right 90% of the fluids should be changed out, motor fogged, back off all the rockers, charge the batt and take it out of the truck and store it the right way, put it on jack stand via the frame until at least 50% of the load is off the suspension, put more jack-stands under the diff's, take the tires off it, use garbage bags to cover the diff ends, wash it, wax it, moth ball the interior, use air dryz in the cab, etc.

why will it be a long time before you put it back on the road?

i wouldn't use a normal fuel stabilizer. i would go for ethanol free 91 octane gas and some startron fuel treatment. it is suppose act as a fuel stabilizer plus should also help take care of some of the problem that running ethanol fuel cause.

Great aternoon (especially getting away from the office early). Get a VB kit and bring her back and we'll slap that in it as well! Couldn't hurt!

Having to work on getting the garage sorted out a little better today since weather is so nice. May start wiring Ram for car trailer winch connection today.
