Congrats to you both.

New brake lines showed up today from Crown, look like great parts nice quality, comes with all hardware needed to install, 10" longer than stock.

The website doesn't list 2nd gen trucks but as you can see they do make them, just give them a call and they will make whatever length you need.

drove it to summer school to make up stuff for a test I failed, Then drove to another neighborhood to play basketball. one thing I've noticed since getting my license 4 months ago is that there are some bad drivers here in Florida.

i put $20 of gas in my 81. i also replaced the fuel line between the fuel pump and fuel filter and replaced the fuel filter so that i could hooked up the return line. i originally disconnected it because because the filter i had was letting too much fuel return to the tank and not enough was making it to the carb.

I drove it to town.............twice....

I've got a really annoying vacuum leak/hiss, assuming it's a vac leak anyway, when I get on it. Gotta find it... Sounds like it's coming from the driver side of the engine compartment, but I dunno...

Put a pair of cheap Wolo truck horns in ole Buford with a momentary push button to activate it (Doesn't sound too bad!). Wired a CB into the cab with a P.A. system under the hood, and mounted a pair of Light Force flood lights with another momentary push button. Busy but successful day!
