What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
welp...I cheated and it worked!
the big white soot pumper passed emissions today
gotta love flash programmers! especially when you didn't pay full price for them
half power tune (basically limp mode without the rpm limiter) and no smoke even if you floor it
damn it was weird driving on that tune..truck felt like stock again...been a long time since I felt that truck drive so gutless. soon as I passed, I pulled over in a parking lot and re-flashed it back to stock programming and bumped the fueling box up a couple notches and was like...ahhhh, much better!

adds more timing and injector duration which translates to more hp and torque.
on stock tuning I run 375hp with current mods.
with fueling box on level 2 I run about 400hp
level 3 is about 550hp
level 1 is just for fuel economy. adds timing and nothing else.
diesels are ridiculously detuned from their power potential to meet emissions standards...and to not destroy dodges drivetrain...

going a whole tank without turning the power up is hard...that's like a week + without flooring it!
can't do it!

before all the mods the truck got like 18-19mpg stock with the stupid 4:10 gears...
I would be getting 19mpg right now if I had 3.55s
It's a shame we're so far apart. Sitting in a box in the garage I have a set of 3.55's for the 60/70 combo that I'll never reuse. Shipping would be brutal though.

[QUOTE=Scooter78;2988508]There are 4 mounting feet on the front and 4 more in the back. I had to cut the 2 center-rear mounts almost flush with the rest of the frame. They are currently acting as feet in the back and are not yet bolted down. After welding a basic piece of flatstock with a hole in it to them, they will be secured. I also cut the 2 outer rear mounts, and then rewelded them to the side of the frame to match the shape of my floor. I used the cut off center feet from the back to extend my front feet far enough to reach the floor. The outer four corners are all bolted down, and it feels very solid with myself, my wife and my son. The center mounts are probably overkill, but I will do them anyway. Ill hook you up with some pictures in the morning. Its getting dark and snowing now.

Sorry I took so long for the picture I promised. This is the rear, passenger mount. It used to face rearword, but I cut it off with my sawzall, beveled the edges and rewelded it on the side to match the shape of the floor. The front mount isnt very exciting. Its just the original mount that is extended about an inch and a half. Drivers side is just a mirror image of what you are looking at now.
