they require flaps here, but it's never enforced unless your truck has a LOT of lift and huge tires...

I was only stopped 1 time in 5 years for no flaps on my truck, and that cop was a young kid just stopping everyone that went by him as he pulled over the very next car that went by after he was done "warning" me. I'm never putting flaps on it...That kid can kiss my ***

Going to storm here soon, my primer is uncovered. Can I leave it and put paint on it anyway or do I have to sand it down and reprime again?
If it isn't a sealing primer, it will absorb water. Need to make REAL sure things are bone dry before slinging paint.

Crap. It's rusty metal primer. I guess I'll sand it all off next week start over.

What if the rain didn't dowse the entire panel? I'll have to look later but I don't think it did.

Been having a noise in cab of truck, it was like air in heater core, it was there regardless if heat on or A/C on. Tried that burp thing and no luck, tried it many times. Over the months I noticed that at times I could remove radiator cap and fluid was about an inch low, not full like it should be- thus the noise of air in system. Finely about a month ago I fixed the problem- new radiator cap. It let fluid go into overflow, but was not allowing any to go back into radiator when cooling back down.

Yesterday I pulled all the 2500 steering system off the Dana 60, what I found was most of it is new Moog parts in great shape! So cleaned them up, painted them and will install them today in the 1500. Its still the Y system but the parts are much thicker than the 1500 steering link parts 3-5mm larger in Dia. I have already installed the 2500 sway bar and its made a huge difference in handling.

I will be selling/trading off a bunch of parts here soon, from lift kits to rims,diffs/shocks/driveshafts and so on, pm me or check the classifieds here soon.

Edit: The new trackbar is on a US tour it went from SC over to Miami Florida, from there one only knows where it will go next before it gets to me lol.

While getting ready to order more things for my truck. Got a call from some of my friends that they had been in an accident on the highway. So I drove 50 miles to the scene today to rescue some friends, that what I did to my ram today. Thank goodness nobody was injured. Friends are still quite freaked out about what happen.
