Vdub is quite literally one of two people that would buy a tool specifically for that purpose...
I suppose the rest of us are just a bunch of damn rednecks, of American and Canadian origins.
I guess I'm the other person. Countless times i've tried rednecking stuff and always ends up me buying the right tool for the job...
Did some wire chasing today going after that infamous CEL I've had for awhile... Still cant seem to find the wire thats damaged thats causing these o2 CEL's...
quick question to anyone who has an 81 d150 standard cab long bed. I am getting one soon and I want to buy a truck cover for it, to anyone who has one what is the total length of the truck? thanks

Are the o2s good? Also check the connectors at the PCM to make sure they are tight and clean. What codes is it giving>?

I had a thread on the subject but gave up on it awhile ago and just yesterday started prodding it again. Essentially Ive got a fray/pinch/cut in the 02 heater system wire that I can't find and know thats the issue. Brand new o2's, pcm connectors good as well. Only thing I can think of is that. Not awfully worried though, if I don't find it before I start driving it again I'm just gonna get the mechanic (trusted) thats gonne safety it to find and fix it then.
Today I sat in the Ram and listened to music. And it yelled at me to put more gas in it.. Ive spent over $120 in gas in 6 months of sitting....
At the dealership getting my free oil change and tire rotation and primary vehicle inspection. Also testing the new 2014 rams and chargers that there trying to get me to buy. Man is it intresting driving those new duallys. Ride is so smooth. And to conclude my statement im pretty much in Ram heaven right now lol
