Finished up servicing my trans and installing my remote trans filter kit, but I think I may have overtightened the sending unit wire nut as the guage will not reach over 140*. I'll have to order a new one sometime.

Went light shopping today for some nice off-road lights to mount to the lightbar I'm going to make. I think I'm going to end up getting an HID kit for the headlights, then another for my off-road lights.

I've looked at 2 and 4 light setups on a front light bar and am un-decided. What do you guys think? 2 or 4 lights? I think I should be able to run 2 HID kits without much trouble from the charging system. 3 kits may be too much. We will see...

Switching to breakers and 200amp service in the house, running 220V/60amp service to the garage. He'll be supplying both boxes, breakers and conduit/wires for the 50' run out to where the box will go in the garage and outlets for the 5hp compressor and stove as well as hook up the rest of the garage electrical I roughed in when I built it. Garage is stuffed so hope hes flexible lol.

Well in that case it really is a fair price if he does a quality job on it. The average price on a 200 amp service upgrade/change over is between 1500-1800. Once the new code comes into effect the price will skyrocket due to the amendment of arc fault breakers being required for almost everything in a house. The jacked the price of them from 18 bucks to nearly 60 already.

4. HID light draw less power than stock so it shouldn't be any trouble. if it does cause a problem then you can install relays for the headlights. a headlight relay DIY is #41 in the DIY sticky.

Thanks! I intend to run relays and after reading on a few HID threads, seems like 4 kits have been used without problems.

Heading out to check my game camera, then going to refinish my headlights again.

Washed it, waxed it.
Pressure washed the engine bay, but none of the local car washes have an engine cleaner setting, so it's still kinda dirty, but the fluid leaks are gone.. for now.

Hey oren, go to the dollar store and buy some stuff called TOTALLY AWESOME , let the motor be warmed up and use it then wait a while to soak in. Then hose down. Worked great on my 93 silverado that had 475,000 miles and gobs of dried grease.
