What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Jack-hammered out the old sidewalk at sister's house and hauled the concrete to the local concrete plant. Had to be a little over a ton, the truck handled it just fine. No pics since I didn't have a camera with me.
Also put 21 gallons in her.

Today I prep'd for an A-Pillar gauge pod install.
The pod is supposed to screw over the top of the factory trim, but being that it fits into the opening in the end of the dash, and tucks behind the door seal all the way up the side, it cant go anywhere, so it's going in by itself.
I installed the gauges (Wideband O2, Vacuum, Engine Oil Temp) and speaker into the pod, then ran the common wires to a connector at the bottom of the pod (Wideband has its own cable to its controller).
The Wideband controller I put on a bracket that I tucked under the bottom edge of the steering column valance, picking up one of the existing screws.
From the new connector I ran wires and the vacuum line down the pillar following the speaker wire, behind the fuse panel, and under the dash.
I punched through the top of the large loom grommet in the firewall, and routed the sensor wires and vacuum line to follow other legs of the factory loom to the desired destinations.
The remaining tasks for next weekend are; install the sensors, and tap into the factory loom for power supplies (ground, uninterrupted, switched, and lights).
I'll take some pics before and after final install.

I threw the center caps from my 2nd Gen on e-Bay last week with an opening price of $10. On Friday, I received this ridiculous e-mail from another e-Bay member (note my response):
The caps are up to $23.50 with a little over an hour remaining for the auction. I had no idea the center caps were in such demand. Oh well, just more money for me.

Nope. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Ram-Durango-Wheel-Rim-Center-Caps-/331100743955?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d17246913. I wonder what happened to the chump who offered me $10?
From trial fitment, it seems pretty sturdy by itself... if it proves not to be, it will be easy enough to put the stock one underneath.
Use the two-sided tape they use to stick the emblems on the side of the truck. It will never come off, regardless of interior temp.
(well, ok, if the truck burns to the ground, it more than likely won't survive that.....)

I have the same pod... either do what jigabop suggested, or get some sort of way to attach that pod to the naked pillar. Mines mad loose at the top without the dactory trim piece in place. Doesnt move around too much nut still hangs down.
