I picked up the recommended sand paper and going through my "paint" collection for clear coat, in order to get that one dull head light on this 97. While I was at it, I took the old 97 to "grocery get", gassed it up at Kroger for .10 off per gallon, (which hand calced to 11.2 MPG's city). K.

My bumper finally arrived today and got it installed in about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Had to relocate the horn since the bumper only mounts to the frame rails and doesn't need the corner supports. Only noticed a slight difference in ride height but ride quality seemed to improved.

Haven't done anything but look at it today. Driving down the highway Saturday night, started hearing a light growling noise. Got under it Sunday morning to see what's up, and TC was split all the way around. Decided not to go with a JY unit, and ordered one of these. High $$$, but should last longer than me.
