Installed tailgate cable. Completed industrial weed kill all farm gravel roads including barn and logging roads with the Ram 1/2 ton using sprayers & tanks, (stopped short of run off). K.

Ran the diesel to town to load up on industrial weed killer. Mixed with 2/3 water this stuff will last until fall (no weeds/no mowing). To keep from being a post w**** I'll use edit feature, (because our hay got baled today). Photos in the 98/1500 album (Johnson grass). We also placed flat river rock in
the creek crossing between farms.

Installed steering wheel cover and seat covers on the 3rd gen, fueled the 98 on 89 octane and results are 12.6 mpg's. 99 diesel remains at 15 mpg's.
Met with diesel team today, they are ready for the project truck. I once went to a shop in a non-emission state, and would you believe it (they lost my Cat).

Just changed my oil. Not got 2.5 quarts out. Oil did not rear on dipstick.

No lifter tick or smoke or any signs of excessive oil burning or lack of oil. I always just put the 5 quart jug in. Which is a little shy of capacity. But as always worked for me.

2.5 is a lil on the low side. Truly interesting

Ah, the mystery black hole of oil.

My truck does the same thing. No blue smoke while runnin' down the road, no spots in parking places, but, I go thru a quart about every 150 miles...... maybe oil just burns cleaner these days.....

I had Moog wheel hubs / bearing installed on both my front wheels today and got my RedHead Gear Box installed. No more sloppy steering :-) Now I need to replace my catalytic converter (already got one, just need to install), and fix my AC and I'll be all set.
