Have ya noticed that pretty much all cell phone holders suck when it comes to our trucks? I finally found one that doesn't suck, or at least one that I don't see as sucking because it's an idea I had a few years ago and never got around to fabricating. I recently found out that someone else had the same idea and manufactures it:

I guess I should have cleaned the camera lens and the truck floor...

The gooseneck is quite stiff so it stays where you position it, but as one would expect the phone jiggles a bit while driving. It took me about 30 seconds to develop the habit of stabilizing it with my pinky when poking at the touchscreen.

Next up is the bluetooth car kit that just arrived today. All I'd intended to buy was the phone, but then it was too large for the phone holder I was using, then it seemed a good thing to get the car kit for safety's sake... Then it seemed a good idea to stick an NFC tag to the phone holder so I can set it up to turn bluetooth on and off automagically... Ain't no tellin' where this BS is going to end.

Replaced the vacuum check valve just off the intake manifold, and fixed the not so wild "wild vents".
They were just starting to act up (nothing bad), and I had a new OEM check valve on hand... the other check valve that goes to the HVAC is still working fine.

dragged my plow out the other day. ended up short chaining it, so i wouldnt mix the fluid around. gonna completely drain the fluid from the reservoir, and pistons(both lift, and angling), replace the filter, put a new gasket on, and fill her back up with new fluid for another season.

been looking at a ton of 3rd gen 3/4 ton hemis as of late. 4 for months, and ill have one!

Lucky duck. We haven't had a second cutting for a long time. And normally we get two or three. Never gotten a fourth.

For $#!*s and giggles, I put in half a tank of 89 instead of 87 to see what it might do for MPG and I got a whopping 16.8 with a heavy foot on the highway. Usual is around 16.3-4

May try again, but with a lighter foot, if there is a better increase, I will stick with it. Also, it ran a little smoother and idled a little smoother as well.

Replaced my crank position sensor. What a pain, working by feel only...

Also created a new problem: lost one of the bolts (top one).

Anyone have a spare?

Also figured out that an engine that's sat for 3 hours is still hot enough to blister your skin, if you push hard enough.
