Are all the cab mounts the same? Looking at doing this come summer. The front two are the only things on the whole truck that didn't get oil sprayed in past years and aren't in fantastic shape
Oh and said it before and i'll say it again you need to oil spray that thing BAD if you want to keep it around!

Yea no kidding. We go to the dunes in Oregon several times a year and I would find myself passing the same big rigs 4 or 5 times during that 5hr drive down I-5
Changed my trans fluid and filter
Magnet caught a lot of stuff, buts it's not been changed for quite some time.
I found ONE little chunk of metal..... Not sure how I feel about that....
Fluid looked good all in all though
A los discovered I have a pinion seal leaking in my rear axle.... Bleh
Do they stock pinion but and seal at local auto stores? I'm not holding out hope.... I'll just top it back off and keep an eye on it
Can pinion bearings cause weird vibes at 70ish mph?

Yep, pinion bearings can give you all sorts of surprises. Wouldn't hurt to inspect, and see if it is just leaking a bit, or, if the bearing is getting loose. If the bearing seems ok, rotate your tires, and see if your high speed vibration moves/goes away.
Well, it finally happened. The Ram met catastrophic failure today. Not only the rear end, but the trans and Transfer case all went out at the same time with one loud "Bang". It left a huge cloud of white smoke, and a lot of trans fluid all over the pavement. Needless to say, the cost of repair far exceeds the value of the truck. It's been nice 2nd Genners, I bid ye farewell.
Ha, just kidding, I'm going to replace it with another 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen so I'll stick around.
