I just get the occasional bird hitting my windshield. Never hit anything else...

My son put a headliner in his 80 Cad & Monte Carlo. He is now drafted to put one in my nice 97. I'm giving him my good 97. I am inspired by your nice headliner installation on your Laramie

Makes the inside seem much nicer! Only advise is to make sure you have really covered every square inch with adhesive.

Filled it up with gas, drove it about 55 miles, and hauled a refrigerator in it.

Swapped out a bad trans temp sensor and replaced the burned out trailer brake controller with another Tekonsha Voyager unit.

Now that all the "bits" have been pulled, there's lots of sanding in my future, prepping for paint.

How does something like that happen, brake controller, I mean? Just use and age?

How do you rule out that the trans temp was bad?

I have a goose neck hitch in the bed. The brake controller fried when the winter salt crap got into the harness connection where the 2 connectors plug into each other by the hitch. Not enough dielectric grease in there I guess and it shorted when towing.

I'm not sure why the trans temp sensor went bad. It's a sealed unit for the Glowshift gauges. I checked all the wiring first to rule that out then I swapped the engine oil temp and trans temp gauges in the pillar to test them and it worked, so it must have been the sensor.

New rotors, steel braided soft lines, and 2500 pads and calipers. It doesn't pull left any more when I brake.
