Yeah night and day difference. Funny how when you drive
the same thing every day you just get used to slowly degraded performance. Then you fix it and go WOW what was I waiting for!

Well popped my drive shaft off real fast to check mainshaft play in the transfer case and, well. It's obvious there is no snap ring left there......

Fix is on the way In the mail. Completely boneheaded move on my part. Should've fixed it a long time ago. Hopefully no major damage was done but if there was, it's my own stupid fault.

Ouch! I hope you caught it before the cracks formed.

That's from CappinHoff's post of August 9, 2010.

Changed out the map light harness, both left and right switches had broken. Also ordered a data logger to get a better custom tune.

Did you replace the lites as well? If so, where did you get them from?

The lights were fine but the map light buttons self destructed. The new mopar harness was $32 on ebay. It is complete with bulb sockets and button switches. Very easy plug and play. Takes about 10 minutes to change out. There's a couple different harnesses depending on which overhead console and year.

I replaced my driver seat with a passenger seat, wanted comfort on my right hand posterior. Problems: flip seat is on the inside now, lost lumbar, recliner between seats but I'm comfortable. Corrections to be made: I have a tan interior so I'll have to spray the gray seat tan, any one done that? relocate my power seat control.
I had a guy do my other 97, his installation eliminated my problem list but I'm A OK with this
NEXT replace my headliner then the fog lamps are last to tackle
Yes, Viginia you can make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

Just transplant the seat cushion onto your old frame.
