yesterday changed out AC compressor, dryer, and liquid line (ebay kit), condenser (rock auto), serpentine belt (autozone), loaner flush kit and vacuum pump (autozone), flushed evaporator (autozone flush liquid), purchased new hoses (autozone) but returned them since original ones were in good shape, just flushed them. had old refrigerant recycled at local AAMCO (local one does more than transmissions $45 bucks). my first auto AC work. i saw a few you tube videos and went over the service manual. it was straight forward and relatively quick. been testing it since yest, so far so good.

At the dealership, but according to the parts guy it was the last pair in the system and they don't make them anymore. He called a dealer in kentucky but those were on hold and the only other pair was in new york. I got those ones, to bad an aftermarket company doesn't make them, took like 30mins to bolt them up.

Actually, an they are available aftermarket, they cost $200 and can only be found on EBay. Instead of a hook, it's a closed loop, the bracket is a copy of the oem bracket and it's made specifically for 2nd gen Rams.

I couldn't find them aftermarket but with my employee discount I didn't pay $200 for the set either. I put some billstein 4600 on my truck and I'm really liking them.
