Damn what kind of battery are you buying? There are some things I don't mind cheaping out on but buying batteries for my rigs isn't one of them. I run Optima batteries in my Jeep and have a AGM battery in my bike so it make sense to have them in the truck too.

Don't know...... I asked for the biggest, meanest battery that would physically fit. The one I bought for my 96 two days after I picked it up is still in it, still works fine, 8 years later. Think I got my moneys worth out of that one.

Probably same pulley but I doubt a belt would last that long!

Pulled my truck out of it's winter slumber and got it inspected. I need to tear down the rear suspension and replace the U-bolts this week. After I pressure washed everything I found the bottom axle perch fills up with all kinds of dirt and road salt causing the U-bolts to rust and weaken.

Does anyone know the bolt/nut sizes for the rear shocks on a 2500?

Big day out in my shop but did manage to get some work done on the Ram too. changed engine oil pulled the rear diff cover off cleaned it out put a new gasket on and put new gear oil in. also checked my transfer case out it was over full by a fair amount not quite sure why. i have not had the truck too long so this is my first real look around under the beast. next up new plugs and a couple of other little things
