It is in wonderful shape it's painted the lighter B5 blue which is what he is painting the truck although the cab has a crappy print job. Didn't even scuff the factory paint so it just peels off lol. I got it for my father he's restoring a 85 scsb with factory AC and 5 speaker system! Never seen one with those options. Plus it has the "headliner" lol

Finally... I got around to doing the other visor, and installed them.
Just need to get some LED bulbs for the vanity mirrors.

Replaced rear brakes with centric fleet shoes.
heater core finally arrived after the ice held it up in Waco all week. Finally getting thawed out. That was about 3 years worth of winter weather packed into 1 week around here.
Anyone have experience with uac AC evaporator cores?

I believe 28mm ones works. If you find ones that work please post them.

I ordered an off brand heater core and AC evaporator. I do believe the only difference is if the AC evaporator comes with the insulation on the lines.

OE heater cores are copper and have fixed tubes... aftermarket are typically aluminum and have a swivel in the tubes to make insulation easier, but these can become a leak point.

The kid's car is having problems so I rushed out to install the LMC headlight harness before it started raining and turning the snow & ice into mud and muck. Although warmer weather would have made things easier, its in and has brightened up the headlights. The installation isn't pretty, but it works. I can pretty it up when I install new headlights later on this spring. I won't know until tomorrow morning how much better they are.

Ok... they arrived...

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...30mm/243/1162/

They fit perfectly, and I’m very pleased with the brightness... however, being LED’s they aren’t dimmable, so the slide dimmer no longer has any effect... that doesn’t bother me (don’t think the dimmer was never used)

Yup, now time to clean the fingerprints off the mirror
