Just hit up a home improvement store and see if they have any rubber stoppers in the right size. If so, drill a hole through the middle and stuff in the right sized vacuum line splice. It worked great on an old Ford I was working on a few years ago.

I'm going to be giving the LMC hd headlight harness a try to see if I can't brighten things up at night. The headlights are pretty clear but even with Silverstar Ultras they're more yellow than white so I'm figuring they're not getting full amperage at the bulb.

Could check the power at the plug and see what the voltage is. I know HeyYou did it and he said it helped significantly

Yep, first thing I did to my 98 after I bought it. New headlamp housings, Sylvania Silverstars, and LMC harness. Aim the headlights properly, and you will be amazed at the difference. I can see a LONG way in front of the truck now with the high beams on. Previously, I HAD to have the highs on to see ANYTHING at night.

I checked that the other day. I'm dropping about half a volt from battery voltage without a significant increase with the engine running. The harness grounds read the same as grounding directly to the battery so it's not a ground issue.

I had to run the high beams just to see a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't been out after dark since.

Harness arrived today but I'm waiting until the penguins & polar bears take their weather back to install it.

Was going to do rear brakes today but not taking my butt out there to do it in 25* 15* wind chill. (Yep I’m a southern warm weather weenie)
Ordered oem heater core, waiting to order ac evap and get vac pump from buddy to pull the climate control plenum.
ice has shut this area down. We don’t stock de icer Or enough gravel in this part of the country to deal with this crap it’s not fiscally responsible with the rarity of events like this here.

After spending longer than I wanted to in 13 degree weather to put the snow plow on the Rhino, I completely agree.

They've done pretty good keeping up with the roads here, but we've had more wintry weather in the last week than they've had in a few years. With more on the way I don't know if supplies will hold out.
