I did. I have not seen a test where Amsoil trans fluid is better than ATF+4. I dont think it is worth the extra $8.00 per quart.

Remember, "Recommended", not "approved".

 

I use it and its working fine for me. When montec was around he asked me what I used and he said amsoil is good stuff.

 

And I use ATF+4 and my transmission is working great. Just last weekend while towing the camper, the temps were 175* while towing. Its all about how much money you want to spend for the same results.

 

I guess I'm willing to shell out a bit more than you are. lol. While approved is GOOD Recommended is not bad as well.

 

Why spend more money on AMSOIL when ALL ATF+4 is a synthetic oil, its just over priced crap in my book. I used it before and switched back to Val. ATF+4 and can't tell any differance besides having more money in my pocket after doing a service. Oh I got off subject sorry, I am rebuilding my transmission with parts from Hughes Performance and putting freshly rebuilt driveshafts in it from Action Machine.

 

i "recommend" makers mark...probably wont work...but i recommend it.

ordered a new injection pump, a new FASS pump and 6 new injectors.....

 

did a small burnout at a 4way stop on the way to work and was completely oblivious to the cop sitting behind the car on the right side of the stop........he got me, but just a written warning, wasnt even expecting to get a tire since i dont have a muffler on right now
