if your not using oil than why are you using dino oil treatment?....thats stp stuff is crap I've used it before.....I have had better luck with the risoline stuff in the silver can...restore I think its called... it really helped with the burning of oil....I also had good luck on my vette going from full synthetic to the high mileage valvoline dino stuff....I dont burn as much oil now and the additive in it seemed to help the valves seal better...less smoke on startup..
my truck doesnt seem to burn any oil at all even with 140k (I did add restore when I changed the oil cause the po said it burned a little)....I'm worried cause it actually seems to have a higher level on the stick a 1000 miles later?....no gas or coolant though....maybe there was sludge I knocked loose or something?

What most additives do is thicken up your oil so it doesnt leak, burn, or tick. What you are seeing is the oil being higher up on the stick because it is thicker.

Drove in the snow for the first time this season. Nothing major but still snow . I also found that my knock is only present when the truck is warm so now I have to see if a plenum fix will get rid of that. Need to add antifreeze too. The list is on going.

Yeah, it snowed here too. It was only about 1/4-1/2''. I cant beleve how many wrecks I heard about on the radio. Thats amazing how people all the sudden cant drive in 1/4'' of snow. I cant wait to drive with these fools.
