using sand paper on chrome = a large amount of rust in near future bad idea....I was told you should use choirboy....when used right they dont scratch the chrome all up and dull the finish (but it has to be a certian type and I cant remember which....steel wool works too it you scrub lightly but its easy to scratch chrome with it..

 

Tore dash apart to find a shorted wire...found it and fixed it, reinstalled dash, replaced fuse, removed windshield wiper arms, wire wheeled and painted, reinstalled, checked and aired up all tires, checked coolant and oil levels, cleaned passenger side floor of all junk and filled it up with gas.

 

well guys after my 2 day long huntin trip, and 212 miles later, im back, got the truck a little dirty out where we go huntin. we left friday night around 12am. and then got out there around 1:30am-2am and still raining, got to bed aroud 3 then woke up toi my phone alarm and it was pouring still... went back to bed, wake up at 730 still raining...1130 finally stopped raining. went out later saturday, ended up getting some mud on the truck, had to use 4wd a few times just in case, didnt get stuck though. saw 6 does, 1 4point(on the side of SR60 at 930pm,) 2 turkeys, and 5 hogs(on the side of the road at 930 as well.) didnt get anything,(kinda pissed after a total of 40+miles of walking,) to top it all off, as we were leaving sunday night, a guy pulled up to the check station with a 140-160lb 8 point, but he was driving a ford, so you know.

also picked a set of cab lights friday, gonna be puttin them on wednesday.
and i realized how busy the forum is in the matter of 3 days

 

also just got the new crate 360 dropped off

 

Just bought both lower Moog balljoints along w/ the Moog pitman arm. Question is, should i do anything else while in that area(susp. wise)? I'm also throwing on my SS brake lines. 1500 2wd

found out my spider gears are worn out while i had my truck in the shop gettin the 4.56s installed. they got the front end done. so now i have a new set of spider gears being air mailed over night to the shop so i can hopefully have my truck back tomorrow

My 4wheel drive hasnt worked for a week so i took the front diff cover off today and found that one of my spider gears is MIA and there is a nice chunk taken out of my carrier so that kicked me in the a** to have my 4.56's installed
