looked at some digital trans temp and oil gauges, found some for 49.99 ea. and an A pillar 2 gauge pod for 14.99

but where would i put the sending unit for the trans temp gauge for the best most accurate reading?
and the oil temp one, could i just get one of those adapter plates for the oil filter boss?

The front servo port would be the best for the transmission. I dont know about the oil temp one.

I dont really know about those gauges tough. Not really my style (But it is YOUR truck! Do what makes you happy!) BUt I got my AutoMeter gauges from Summit Racing for $65.
