What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?

In my experience with our dodge, the trans temp light NEVER came on, even when it should have. That experience holds true for many of my friends, and the tranny shop I trust also said most Dodges never turn the light on around here, something we suppose is due to gravel dust getting in the trans through the breather and then clogging the temp sender.
Not much dust around here. And when it's dusty, it's usually during a drought.
Got my pan back on and 4 qts in it. Going to see where that gets me.
Now to figure out the damn trans line...

need to put another 50-100km on the truck to find out. with the old carb the gas gauge would not start moving off full until i had gone about 100km's. i am just sitting in the 100km area right now so i should know soon. i know 1 thing for sure and that is gas mileage has not gone down

SH!TTT!!! Nurse it back down to my house, check the dipstick. NOTHING. So I put a full qt in it, at least, I forget. Either way, Imma check it again tomorrow morning sometime to see what it's doing.

told me about 5.5-6.5 qt......Like I said, Imma check it tomorrow and then hop in old Lemon Drop and cruise over to wally world and get another two quarts.
