Today I replaced my #4 injection line in the '93 with one that isn't cracked. It put a smile on my face to romp around town in it after not being able to drive it for 2 weeks.

Also I finally put my replacement VP44 in the 01. It fired off and purrs. I drove it a fair bit today, and it is an extremely nice driving truck. I kinda want to keep it... But it is for sale.

Might wanna swap the oil in old blue... Im not into the "3000 mile" hype for an oil change, but letting him sit with year old fluids calls for a change in my book Enjoy the ride, be safe =)

Gave a hitchhiker a ride home 20 something miles in The Slam Ram this morning so he wouldn't have to walk that in 40 degree weather.

Me and God don't talk as often as we should, but when I asked for a sign, my pioneer unit was playing pink floyd and the information was flashing "No Name" "Fearless" "Fearless"... Even if the sign would've been a let down, I always have the 45 on me for a second opinion after all... A gun is like a parachute, if you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Guy gave me 15 bucks, a monster, and a doughnut. I didn't eat the doughnut for common sense sake, but the monster was pressurized and sealed so fair game

lol it was more along the lines of "Please don't make me waste ammo today."

He certainly was a strange one. Turns out he was walking home from the county prison. When Pink Floyd was playing... well... I have never seen someone air guitar so flawlessly in my life lol. Nice guy though, I don't see him being a threat to society, just a bit of a clepto for corporated store items lol

Drove it 300 plus miles yesterday. Averaged right about 15 miles per gallon mixed driving. Not bad for a 3/4 ton truck with 185K on the clock.

Gotta get a new front pinion bearing installed for my rear differential. Been having a loud whirring sound upon acceleration only, figured it may be that bearing. Only one way to figure it out, trial and error.

On Friday, my helper and I loaded up The Silver Bullet, hitched a single axle trailer, and headed for the annual VW show in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The truck averaged 13mpg in Tow/Haul mode with the A/C running. She did well as we meandered up, down, and around the Arkansas mountains.
