Went out and played in the snow. And the driver's side headlight bulb is burned out.

 

Got my new shocks in the mail. Putting them in tomorrow morning bright and early.

 

wrecked my truck today doin 60mph well spin out into wall on the highway in front of semi because of snow and ice and a bump lol messed up the bumper and brush guard almost fliped

 

My dad drove it today, We got about 6in of snow, Figured out that its got a few problems too, Leaky timing chain cover, 4x4 has a vibration(prob the driveshaft in a bind from the 5 in lift, It didnt require any welding or anything just bolt on so i dont get why the ruff country lift would cause it, But it all started then.). Also went in a empty non-plowed parking lot and cut like 6 doughnuts, Sadly i forgot to make a video.

 

how's the healing process going??

i finally got to hear Maroon's motor for the first time in over a week, forgot how nice that 318 sounded

plenum is fixed and as of right now, no oil leaks (i ran cheap fresh oil for all of 20 minutes while refilling with coolant, gonna put some fresh in, along with a new filter tomorrow and run that until i go back to school, then i'll switch to my typical syn. blend)

now i'm gonna concentrate on the body work, and install the brake controller (my dad gave me the one out of his totaled truck, his new one has the integrated one!) once the body work's done, i get to take it out on a test drive, get some new rubber put on it....and some mud flaps

 

Did you learn anything about driving in snow and ice?

 

Drove her all around town in the snow. Still getting more tonight so hopefully a snow vid is in order for the weekend..

so far so good , im on my 4th week of theropy and i go next thursday 14th to see if i can go back in shoes and start driving .. only thing is that my left ankles locks on me sometimes , the theropist seems to think because my ankles is in a diffrent position than before it grabs because of the new surface , i hope it will stop
