What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Alright here we go been a productive day.
Changed out both tailgate cables, changed out my very broken t stat, tightened my stock air box (fell sorta off like a week ago) peeked down my throttle body just to torture myself and still see lots-o-oil. Noticed i have a paint chip that chipped off a while ago and rusted on the roof of my cab (lucky me) Noticed i have the notorious wet passenger floor board after a nice rain.(notice a trend?) changed out my PCV and its still tickin like a MOTHER so **** me.... fuel injector or plenum or exhaust leak. alotta problems for a truck that only has 97000 miles eh? OH! and noticed a new fuggin parkin lot ding. yay me

Replaced on the front axle, upper/lower ball joints, rotors, calipers and pads, outboard u-joints @ hubs, LS hub, greased everything, .
Replaced TPS to chase down shifting issues. Truck shifts better now than before.

My Thunderbird had 240k on it with the original starter and it never gave me a bit of trouble. It must be a Ford truck thing.
My dad used to have a 50-something Chevy pickup and every time he went to start it he had to hop under the truck and smack the starter a couple times with a hammer just to get it to start.

All my Fords have had either the 302 or the 351. They both use the same starter because essentially they are the same block. Always seems to be a problem with not having the correct spacing from the flywheel.
Going back to Illinois tomorrow night and not taking the Dodge. Let's see how this Buick does on road trips.

If it's the Hughes Decal, don't waste your time. First rain and it'll start to peel. I just stuck mine to my toolbox in the garage. Don't forget the heater bypass hose on the top of the water pump. Those are rarely ever reusable.
Nah, it's a naughty little Dodge decal. First thing I thought was "cool, a hughes decal" then noticed it was nothing but paper. Got myself a new bypass hose too. Any other advice is more than welcome.
well last night, i put a new(well used) chrome bumper on the truck, and pushed the fender back out, now other than some scrathes you cant tell i was rear ended.
also bought a 1 year subscription to AllData for my truck

Well my truck smacked me in the side of the head... i was putting new muffler clamps on and taking an old one off the bolt broke and my little breaker bar swung around and knocked me out cold (well not literally) but damn. >.<!
Started carving on my 'new' (to me) intake today, got most of the center wall removed. (I don't have a digital cam, else I would post pics.) Still need to cut the runners, clean everything up, and put the hughes plate on.
