Sad Sad day. As for me been debating on how to fix the AC think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and replace the compressor. Only a couple hour job if that. Also been reading a lot about rear axle swaps. I actually want a 4.10 from a 2500 and keep the 2500 leafs for extra towing ability. Anyone done this. Like from a light duty 2500. Will the leafs bolt right to the 1500 or will I have to mod the mounts? Search function here I come!!!

I gotta do that too...the a/c compressor that is. I'm going to have to bite the bullet here soon because it's getting hot as hell in Vegas and some a/c would be great in the truck. Shouldn't take too long at all because all you gotta do is drain the system, remove 5 bolts and 2 connectors then swap and reverse. I might fun for it next month.

Yea that's about right. So does anyone know how much r34 I'm gonna have to put back in??
I added 4lbs to mine when the gauges read REALLY low. The sticker under the hood should tell you how much is required to refill the system from empty, if not, try the owners manual or haynes manual.
