I just aquired a 2001 Dodge 1500 2wd from the inlaws. 88K and seems to run good.
Last week I dropped a bunch of money on new lower ball joints and hub assemblies. New tires too.
Today I installed a 2 in drop kit shackles in the rear.
Today I installed a old used JVC cd player. I pulled the door panels and replaced the 2 6x9 speakers in the front doors.
Today I installed a set of Putco half size stainless fender trim. Not sure yet if I like it.
Today I installed a K&N filter in the OEM housing. Had it laying around from another Dodge I owned years ago.
Today I undercoated the rear wheel wells so front and rear are black.
Today I installed 4 Mopar splash guards, frt and rear
I think I'll drive it around for awhile now.

Got some more parts in today. My water pump/timing gasket kit and injector o-rings arrived. Now just waiting on my water pump and valve covers to come in and I will be ready to start my plenum project. Kinda looking forward to tearing into it... in a masochistic kind of way.
One thing is for sure, freakin parts add up fast!!

Got the 4.56's installed in rear along with Yukon LSD. Disconnected front driveshaft so I could drive it out of the shop for few days until stuff slows down there. Drove it for 20 or so miles and instantly noticed a huge difference. I haven't gotten in on it because I am going to break them in properly, but just going up hills was incredible, no more bogging or struggling.
