Fixed the channel changing **** on my CB.
Treated the antenna with gun blue, which made it black.

Drove it to work today, washed it, and checked oil. 2500 miles and oil is clean and on the full mark. Looks kinda purty all cleaned up! Also ordered floor mats. Don't want to trash the new carpet (Texas Ranger Logo mats, of course!)

Did a little spot sanding on a few orange peel spots I discovered after wash - - - then washed those spots. Want to get all the spots sanded before I break out the buffer again.

Also washed dash and inst panel to remove dust from painting and sitting in the garage. Interior is back to new except the seat bottom I shipped out for repair.

I got it from Automat Store in Columbia, Mo. They have a website, but even with discount it was cheaper from their e-bay store. $170.48 with free shipping. As I could not be certain about color, I had them send color samples (two different sets). This slowed the process, but I wanted to make sure. Talk to Anne. She really did a good job, great service. It was here in about 3 days after I finally decided on color. I am real happy with it.

I also installed extra padding that I ordered form LMC for heat and sound. I have to roll the window down to check to hear the e-fan! I get nervous not knowing it is runing, but tem stays right around 185 with in town short trips at and around 90 degrees!

I did a little more touch up sanding on the clear and washed again today. I want to get all the sanding done before I do the little paint touch up spots and get ready for fnial buffing. Ordered a 3" buffing pad set for the small areas.

I installed new plugs, cap, rotor, wires, pcv valve, oil, oil filter, and air filter today. Truck now runs better than she did when i bought her. I also drilled a hole to run my cb wire and rear utility lights, made my own grommet, and siliconed and duct taped the s**t out of her. So if that hole leaks I dont know what I'll do.

Found a front and rear axle assembly on craigslist today for $400 obo. Gearing is 4.10 out of a 94 ram 3/4. They have been cleaned up really nicely, look great. Thought about picking them up for my ram. But decided to just change my diff fluids on mine today.
Anyone know if these axles are a direct fit without any spring relocations ect..?

Front should bolt in, but take the 2500 control arms.

Rear uses 3" wide leafs on an HD vs. 2.5" on a 1/2 ton. I would have hangars fabbed for the 3" springs and do the swap if I found them for $400. If its just axles with nothing else it's still a good deal, as you can weld 2.5" perches on to the rear, and get control arms out of a JY.

Oh yea, U-joints probably are bigger, and pinions are closer to t-case, so take drivelines too.

Well, not today, but yesterday.
I SeaFoamed the engine, didn't put out a lot of smoke, so either I didn't do it right or it wasn't too dirty.
I also tried to climb a muddy hill that I didn't know was muddy and got her stuck......in 2WD.
Got her out with 4WD Lo and reverse.
