Yeah, the clear ring around the ignition should have a green light on it when the truck is unlocked via the key fob or a door is opened.

It's very easy to do. Just make sure you have a drain pan or rags under the sensor or you'll have trans fluid all over your floor. I just pulled my old one out quick and had my new one in my hand ready to go in quick, so I didnt get alot of fluid come out.

Your truck is looking great!!! To bad about the stop/running lights. Any thoughts about changing out your wheels, I see you gave it a sport (painted) front bumper nice.

Thanks. Replacing wheels is on the list...just cannot find what I want yet, and working on 54 Chevy has been consuming so much time. I need new tires (as none of them match) but want to get wheels first. Not a good place here locally to buy them so I have to do it on a trip. Still nees to respray the doors (someone buffed the clear too much...) but waiting on cooler weather and will probably shoot it when I prime Chevy in October. Been reading every wheel thread that shows up for ideas.

And after road trip Thurs and Friday and then another scheduled for Monday, watching it rain and thinking about working on brake light issue and oil change. May just watch it rain today...

I am supposed to be installing a 7" lift in my truck today, but I seam to be lacking in motivation.

Q did you wet sand and polish the whole truck?

Yes. But since this was my first attempt at paint and body work, I did not apply enough clear when I did doors and buffed too much......Live and learn!

Removed the bed liner today, below is a pic of the bed before I washed it

It cleaned up nicely, but don't have a picture as it started to storm

The dark spots at the bottom of the bed on both left and right sides are just heavy dirt spots, very little paint rubbed off

I recommend Raptor Liner. Easy application, tough as nails.
