I'd like to do something with my upper rad hose. I can see it bouncing into the A/C pulley when I least want it to. I have to push on it quite a bit to get it to go near it, but it still makes me a little nervous.
heeeyyyyyyyy those fans and shroud look familiar! looks good spark master! how are they working out for ya?
rad. hose wont budge, so you dont have to worry about it.
At the risk of posting a noob question and the wrath of VW....oh wth...what is a transfer case saver? Link me to the thread please...my POS work computer is slower than dialup and I can't wait for the search to load....
Yea... I am pondering whether my input shaft would swap into a DHD 241. I think it would, and that would be a cool upgrade. So would a 1st gen Cummins married 205... but I don't think the 205 input would match my 23 spline trans output. Also the low range isn't as low (241's are 2.72:1, while 205's are 1.96:1). It would be indestructible though.

Also doesn't the 205 in the 1st gens have the front drive shaft run along the pass. side vs the drivers side on the 241?? Don't know what you could do about that
