"Hex" plugs are 13/16th and "peanut" plugs are 5/8th in plug socket. They are also much shorter.

Ok... Funny cause I have used both types in a engine.. A 5hp engine at any rate... Rather funny to note about spark plugs at the same time was Dad had a John Deere 318 once, and it was lacking some power... Well I decided it was time for a tune up and performance upgrade! We got some auto-quality spark plug wires, made them shorter than the factory wires, and put some high-quality Iridium plugs in with a smaller gap than factory... What a difference! It had a lot more power after that... Sadly the transmission was going bad the whole time...

lol
I did the same thing with my motorized bike. I replaced the factory wire with an old coil wire from my truck, put in an NGK B6HS, and BAM! More power.

Haha... So much fun we can have... One of these days though I am gonna get me a 360 Magnum and really build a engine on the Magnum block.

Drove her to bowling league last night. She promptly rewarded me by illuminating her pretty yellow check engine light on the way home. Will check what the code is this afternoon....Last time it was the output speed sensor, so I replaced that already.

With my luck it probably is. This transmission acts the fool when it is cold. Once she warms up, shifts great. Until then, it hunts all over the place.
