Default Edlebrock Pro-Flow cleaner (Triangular)

96k Oil Change (autozone $30 synthetic/filter special, Valvoline synthetic 5w30/ FRAM Toughguard filter)

Sea Foamed the intake (roughly 1/3-1/2oz) crankcase and gastank (split the remainder of the bottle 45/55 oil/gas)

Installed Edlebrock Pro-Flow Air Cleaner (PN1002), the triangular style ($25) and Edlebrock 1 1/4" Breather (PN4405) ($10)

Modified install to use stock air cleaner collar (or whatever you want to call it/its actually called) by using a ballpeen hammer to create a lip on the bottom side of the edlebrock base plate flaring out. Will post a pic of the lip later. No jacking with all-thread to get the proper bend etc. Just me and a ballpeen hammer and about 30 minutes of sweet talking (im **** so i wanted it to be "perfect") that baseplate to a form a decent lip (about a 1/8th inch flare) so the stock air cleaner collar/clamp could get a good grip on it. Tried to get away without the lip but it would unseat itself quite quickly with little jarring as it comes with a slight tapper inwards. Noticed excellent throttle response, much throatier exhuast note, the callibrated SOP dyno says theres definately more power. Edlebrock breather fit perfectly into the PCV breather port with NO play. Overall, extremely pleased with the $35 spent.

thats exactly why i put the caveat that i was **** in there. this aint a nascar pitsop, time aint of the essence..... Brilliant!

it wasnt a DIY write up, just an fyi to others, who like me, would like to oddly keep a somewhat stock/aftermarket look. shiiiiieeeeeeettttt. and if you wanna get technical, you have a metal bar going across your throttle body in a less than ideal location (doubtful it matters, but if there were an advantage, it would be mine...bwahahaha). just giving people the option to NOT have that dinky crossbar interupting their airflow.

btw def not being a douche, just sayin wth dude, different strokes for different folks.......

Btw the hole(s) are in the bottom (aforementioned baseplate) of the intake, not the top.

def jk so dont take me seriously

if it was a nascar style pit stop, id have put the 14x3 on, changed the tires, and fueled in 13 seconds lol
but i was talking about the hole in the top cover
