Yerp, yerp.

Several forums I've been on have the same filter. All for the same reason too.

I dropped a Ford cluster in that I had sitting around into the Dodge. Looks like I might be able to make it work, if I can find the right speedo cable, I would think they are standard.

Why is there a gauge cluster from a 1980's Ford truck in a mid 90's Dodge?

You should be shot for that.

No I should not. If it works, it works. Period. If I end up using it, I will get rid of the PCM altogether.

But here's where the trouble is: I'm deleting the PCM altogether. Any ideas on a tach driver for a 1995 dodge ram factory cluster without the PCM being involved

Just install a seperate tach. Seems like that would be the easier route.

I want a tach IN the instrument cluster, not OUTside of it.

Meh.

+1. Or fab up a cluster with everything already in it. The one you're using is terribly out of place. Looks poor, even compared to me 76!
