yup I just went through those threads and damn there are a lot of sandy boxed VW owners there crying over a bunch of rust








You better not be throwning out any DODGE parts though or we will all be PISSED!

Holy Smoke. Would hate to have to make any tight corners with that..... and taking it off-road is just out of the question.

Was reminded the joys of driving a stick shift, second time ever and only stalled twice I think I did pretty good, still need to fix the timing on the spare truck

I was looking at another forum and decided to look at a sticky about common chevy problems, look at the fifth one down on the first post, I guess the plenum gasket issue isn't 2nd gen Ram specific after all.

Haha nice find Sheriff! I bookmarked it cause it's good to know what else I can expect on the wife's truck

I know all the 3X00 (the 3100, not the older 3.1) GM motors were known for a bad intake gasket design which caused a coolant leak under the TB... I changed them on our old 97 Lumina, had to go tear it right down to pullin the pushrods to change....

It's not a plenum gasket they have a problem with since the 90's trucks dont have a plate they are a single construction like the airgap, and they seem to blow out the intake gaskets at the back corners
