lol...

Plugged in OBD2 live data tool so I could "see" what the PCM was doing, and it's weird...

At idle, in park, at 2000RPM:
54* spark advance
15% minumum TPS
Data conflict
225* ECT
15"hg MAP

Driving, at 2000RPM,:
19* spark advance
5% minimum TPS
Data conflict
212* ECT
25"hg MAP

So I went into the Data conflict screen, and the PCM reports that the engine and trans PCMS are reading different values for RPM and TPS, only off by very marginal amounts, but still queer. MAP values are at same TPS positions.

Stranger yet, bank 1 O2 reads lean 50% of the time, bank 2 reads rich 75% of the time, it reports bank 1 in closed mode, and bank 2 in open mode...

I'm confused beyond measure.

I will be honest, I have to give you credit for using that word in that context.

Bravo.

And as for the engine issue, fix the plenum and replace your O2 sensor.

There is no plenum to be fixed on these :O It is a one piece. I'm talking about the GC 3.3L. And the O2 sensors are switching properly, I know the exhaust is smelling rich, so they are, at least in part, accurately reading.
