I used to have one of those but a automatic. what surprises me about the cruze is that its a pretty decent size 4 door. I got that 40 mpg with me the wife both kids and as much crap as I could pack into it, about 500 lbs worth of luggage.

 

had a 99 Impala that would do 35 mpg on the freeway with three adults, and all our stuff. I miss that car.....

Most of the problem with diesel here in the states is the EPA pissing and moaning about emissions.

Our government, no matter who is in power, doesn't have a clue how to solve this countries problems, let alone anyone elses. (Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, etc.) It's long past time for an "american spring".
