Merc said to look on the air horn, and according to the literature I found that confirms it: Carter Thermoquad 6-2141
ya. i think you have to move the coil(which should be easy) and you should be able to find the numbers you need on the front of the base of the carb.
I think that's right now that I'm googling. It's on the throttlebody of the carb.
I'm really thinking that this carb is from an older engine though. In the literature I'm reading, it says that in 76 they started adapting the TQ for emissions stuffs. I've looked, and there isn't any emissions on this truck at all.
I also found that port that I blocked off some time back is a bowl vent. lmao
Looks like I'm uncapping that tomorrow. Granted, the damn thing would have a total of 4 vents.
