The Official 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread
Probably in the Cummins section. Head on over and enjoy yourself.
dodge dude,
It also depends a lot on the company you drive for. In my years of driving I only stayed with one about two years then went to another hoping for a better deal. The last one 'worked' the best of them all. I was with them for nearly 4 years.
If they had treated me better I might still be driving for them. At first they were great then they got a new 'truck boss' and things went down hill from there. A lot of really good drivers quit after he took over.
Sometimes I actually miss driving the big truck but then I come to my senses again.
My wife looks in the news paper and sees all the OTR jobs available and says "You should go back on the road again" and I tell her there is a reason all the companies have adds for drivers. Things are a lot different with the computer logs and GPS things you can't fib on your drivers log and get away with it at all any more.

Not to mention that a fair few of the companies, promise everything, and deliver nothing. One company promises to pay for your schooling, if you drive for them for a year. But, once you get thru the schooling, they work you to death for six months, then starve you out.... you move on to another job, where you can actually get some work, and they instantly want 5-7 grand for the schooling they paid for.......
Do the lift, buy a cheap car and rock that little POS for the winter while you build up the 408.
I'd sell my block damn cheap to you :P
No cracks AFAIK, but the cam and rotating assy. aren't any good, so it'd be perfect for a stroker.
