The Official 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread
You can sled year round here most years, just have to drive up the logging roads, touchy, I would have to hook up with the right person or guide. But yeah sledding in your skivvies if you want to, then come down to golfing or go boating. Sled heads and snowboarders are already showing up for this season. You had some nice sleds there guy cool.

Yea it would be nice to get that kind of snow down here. More than once we would only get our first ride in by early december, and we would still be grinding skis on the dirt. Of course it was nice never to have to worry about avalanches except in a couple places, and it took all day just to get back to them anyways.
Our snow pack is not melting like it should each summer, its making winter's out here very interesting to say the least. Last year it seemed like a weekly thing to have the HWY closed for at least a day from avalanches. I think the snow line is now down to 1800 ft right now, close to us but no snow on the ground here yet. I know where you can get a nice sled, just need a helo to get it out of the valley lol. There are also a few new ski hills in the area Revy opened one two years ago and is supposed to be mint, I can set you up for Cat skiing if you are into that as well or your friends.
I checked out that site, positive thats not the guy I was thinking of lol. He has some pretty sweet setups for sure. I still baffles me how expensive factory sleds are nowadays. The cost of a high end mountain sled is approaching or has reached the price range of entry level cars for f's sake. I remember when a sleds motor size corresponded to its price, like a 600cc sled would be about 6k.
Yep too rich for my blood, I was bad back then buying goodies left right and center. Today just hand them you first born and then some to get into it.
It's not that we avoid coming down there, just not on the top of our list. We are trying to get down to see Wombat Ranger is winter, if we do we will let you know for sure. If we lived in Pen or even Kelowna we would be down there all the time visiting and getting cheap gas and parts.
